We started our careers as engineers, chasing spreadsheets, deadlines, and promotions. But in the back of our minds, there was always the pull of the mountains - and the itch to create something tangible. Trading city commutes for mountain trails, we moved to the Vail Valley, chasing a slower pace and a more hands-on life.

What started as evenings in a small workshop became Highline Wood Art, where we explored our creative side through sculptural wall art and topographic installations. As clients began asking for that same level of design and precision in kitchens, closets, and built-ins, Highline Custom Cabinets & Millwork was born.

From there, another idea took shape: a way to blend functionality and design for the gear we use every day. That’s how Stōr was created - a line of modern, wall-mounted ski and snowboard racks that combine European-inspired design with mountain-town durability.
